   I’d been using “classpath hell” to describe the same problem, but I’m thinking I like “jar fubar” even more!

   I had similar problems getting CF and Hibernate to work together… it seems like everyone likes using different versions of Apache commons-collections and commons-logging! Fortunately the APIs seem pretty stable so I’ve been using CF’s copies of those libraries over Hibernate’s and no issues yet…

   Hey Cliff,

   Thanks for the posting. I’m going on vacation next week, so I’ll finally have time to post my full article/discussion on the topic, but there are some really neat and easy ways to get around this problem in CF. Unfortunately, these ways are not documented very publicly as far as I know, and we only had access to them becuase we have a CF support contract.
