I had and issue where every time the Silverlight player would launch, Firefox would crash. Now I've grown accustom to Firefox crashing over time, but this was reproducable, so in the end I had to uninstall and re-install the plug-in. I'm using Windows and having issues, I can only imagine what Mac users are experiencing. I haven't tried Moonlight on my Ubuntu install yet, so maybe that will work better, but I agree with the author in the link, I'd rather watch TV.<br/><br/>BTW - Ben Forta linked to a great comparison of Silverlight and Flex this morning (http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/madgreek/the-battle-for-the-ria-throne-flex-vs-silverlight--26764). And this is on monster corporate pipe, not at home on dial up.<br/><br/>I can picture my dad trying to watch some olympic highlights with this thing. He wouldn't know enough to wait for it to be buffered.
